Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP): February 2025

In February 2025, the annual rate of inflation as measured by the HICP was 2.0 per cent, up from 1.8 per cent in January 2025.
The 12-month moving average rate for February stood at 2.2 per cent.
The largest upward contribution to the overall annual inflation was measured in the Food and non-alcoholic beverages Index (+0.47 percentage points), while the largest downward contribution was recorded in the Communication Index (-0.16 percentage points).
