The NSO provides full access to its published data both for non-commercial and commercial purposes, and encourages its re-use. Re-use of NSO data, metadata and content of web pages is free subject to the conditions listed below:
• NSO is indicated as the source, together with the date and name of publication as follows:
National Statistics Office Malta, released DD/MM/YYYY, full publication name.
e.g. (for news releases) National Statistics Office Malta, released 30/06/2023, NR114/2023: Government Finance Data: January-May 2023.
e.g. (for statistical publications) National Statistics Office Malta, released 22/06/2022, Publication, Regional Statistics MALTA 2022 Edition.
• In cases when re-use involves modification, customisation and translation of data or text, this must be stated clearly to the end user of the information;
• Re-use of data excludes: logos; trademarks; and visual or other material identified as belonging to a party other than NSO.
