This Gross National Income (GNI) Inventory is a detailed methodological document on the sources and methods used in compiling GNI, and a primary source of information for Eurostat to assess the quality of GNI data in terms of comparability, reliability and exhaustiveness.  The structure of the inventory is based on Eurostat’s guidelines as published in 2020, Eurostat/C3/GNIG/068. These guidelines ensure completeness and enable comparisons with similar reports produced by other European Statistical Institutes. The inventory refers to annual national accounts data for reference year 2019 as published in News Release 159/2024 – Gross Domestic Product: Q2/2024 as published on 28 August 2024. The report is also a very helpful guide for advanced users of economic statistics who want to gain a deeper understanding of National Accounts data.
